Does your copy of Come Dancing with the Kinks have Celluloid Heroes? Always liked that tune and just heard again yesterday.

The 1986 CD version apparently has it, but the 2000 version of the LP doesn't.

It doesn't, but I have another compilation that does.

You heard it on XRT around 6:20 last night too?

Ding. Missed the Lin's Bin, but caught the majority of the song. Nostalgic moment for the drive home.

I'm pretty sure that your head took up all of the space where your soul should be.

I respect Spanky's taste in music... just sometimes his ears are a bit too small... :alien:

Agreed. 'Be Here Now', 'Empty', 'Barfly' and 'Lesson Learned' are absolutely amazing

Killer of Giants/Shot in the Dark - Ozzy Osbourne from the Jake E Lee era.

Jake E Lee is commonly overlooked when it comes to Ozzy's Guitarists. It's unfortunate- he deserved a LOT of credit. The unfortunate thing for Lee was being next in line after Rhoads. Not his fault- it would probably. It would probably be the same if Eddie Van Halen took over. He (Ozzy) was just fine after Zakk Wylde came aboard.

One of the funniest (but also worst) things I've ever heard is how the departure of Jake E Lee took place. Sharon Osbourne sent him a telegram with this news. What a bitch. He was at home, not aboard the Titanic. If I were him I would be too busy laughing to let it bother me for at least a few days.
I don't know if that can ever be topped. Maybe if she sent him the message via carrier pigeon, or hiring a skywriter to write the message above his house.

It did result in the discovery of Zakk Wylde, so that's one positive way of looking at it...

Just got my tickets this summer to Alpine Valley. 4 days of camping, drinking, music and sexting.

Blitzen Trapper... They got a nice folk-singer/songwriter thing going on with a good beat, A little bit like Fleet Foxes, but not as light in the loafers.

I highly recommend it:
