Christianity will go. It will vanish and shrink. I needn't argue about that; I'm right and I'll be proved right. We're more popular than Jesus now; I don't know which will go first—rock 'n' roll or Christianity.
So music peaked with The Beatles then!

Has any band come close to The Beatles in any type of music?

That's pretty closed minded.

It's the truth. I don't have any axe to grind. I'm not even a big Beatles fan. I just appreciate what they were.

My fault, I misread and thought you said "and there never will be..."

It's a different discussion all together. I'm just trying to find the band that comes the closest to The Beatles right now.

Honest question: Do you know who the Beatles are?

I still haven't gotten the titular BRick's Picks.

Still waiting on a better answer...

I'd like to hear yours. There may very well be a better one.

One Direction does seem to have writing credits on many of their songs too but who knows what that means these days anyways.

Why do you need a current Beatles clone?

Who were the Beatles most like before them?

Why wouldn't you? I hear they were pretty much the greatest thing ever but unfortunately I never got to experience them.

They were a little short sighted and never, ever recorded anything for people to listen to at their leisure.

I tried that but I preferred other music.

Earlier, you told me there were thousands of bands that "make songs like The Beatles". Just asking for a name so I can figure out what I am missing. Please give me one or two of those thousands.

It's your theory, you tell me!

Let the record show, BRick admitted he has spent 10 pages arguing about a band whose music he hasn't experienced.

Huh?

In all honesty, the amount of completely wrong things you say is truly astounding. Like, half of the things you attribute to me are just absolutely false. I don't know if it is intentional or unintentional though but I am leaning towards intentional.

I wasn't alive when they were popular. I have experienced their music.

Do you honestly believe I've never heard a Beatles song?

Tastes change, I think. Unless you tell me they don't.

Would Snoop have sold millions of albums in the 50's and 60'? Of course! Especially if he could use today's technology!

So what is the problem with me thinking that there is current music that is better than The Beatles then?
