They were really good, although I don't own any of their music. SNL has been pretty awful again this year.
Spoof on Screamin A Smith was about as funny as it got and that was only mildly funny.

I had a recording of this show about 20 years ago and I have no idea what happened to it. But I just found it on youtube. Believe it or not, the audio on this version is way cleaner than any I've heard. Things get sloppy in a hurry but there are a few great moments here, like the cover of The Essex' "Easier Said Than Done" at 5:00 and the pussy version of "Color Me Impressed" right after that. The Clarence Carter cover at 1:01:15 is Paul at his heartbreaking best.
