TATU!

I loved when Victoria used that song as her entrance theme. Fit her "crazy" persona perfectly.

"15 Minutes" by The Broadways, brought about by Midge's new signature, due to the final lyrics of the song being:

What if I'm the one who's crazy? (x3)
I'm not crazy, just frustrated

I was sure that went unnoticed. Yeah they are great. I just saw Claypool on Friday night up in Milwaukee at The Rave, near Marquette. He played a fantastic Shine on You Crazy Diamond with a great Sax player. Very decent night.

Yesterday, for some inexplicable reason, I had that Lifehouse song stuck in my head. I can't remember the song's name, but I do know I disliked that song a good deal when it came out, and it's been quite a few years since I've heard it. Yet, there it was.

Hanging By A Moment? At least that's what I think the song was called that made them "big"...not that they are really big by any means, but I remember seeing them open for Everclear, who opened for Matchbox Twenty.

I read somewhere that Copeland would like to get them together every couple of years to do new material...of course, that would make them well overdue, but here's hoping.

"Renee Remains the Same", Material Issue--Great power pop from a gone but not forgotten Chicago band.

"Gun", Uncle Tupelo--The poppier side of the alt-country legends.

"A Song for You", Whiskeytown--This song was written by Gram Parsons and stands, in my mind at least, as a bookend to "Wild Horses", the writing of which Parsons greatly influenced through his friendship with Keith Richards (during the country blues Sticky Fingers era for the Stones). Whiskeytown actually recorded the definitive version of the song on a Parsons tribute CD.
