I don't know a whole lot about them. But the main guy, Darian, is a friend of a friend. I met him at a party once and talked to him for awhile.

Didn't Wilson live in St. Charles for several years? It seemed liked Steve Dahl and that Joe Thomas guy were trying to replace Landy.

All correct. Brian lived in St. Charles for a few years and hated it. His Wife and others including Dahl thought the change would be good for him. I think this was around the "Imagination" years.

Did you like "That's why God made the radio" BB album, Jimmy?

BTW, Brian's been making hints about retiring. Don't know how serious he is, but, I assume any tour could be his last.

That was played during the Leonard Bernstein show on 60s pop music. He was very impressed with Wilson's chord progressions. The show ended up being one hell of an advertisement for 'Smile', the album that never was. (But it was finished by Wilson in 2004. )

The interesting thing about the post-smile albums is the rest of the band starts to write/produce. Dennis & Carl contributed some real interesting stuff.

Also their 50th anniversary album's outstanding. You got the "easy hit" stuff, then absolutely great shit like,
