New Sturgill Simpson album drops tomorrow, just read the above review. 5/5 stars, guy basically called it the greatest album of all time.


Should be interesting. As a fuck you to the music industry, Sturgill decided to follow up his grammy winning country album by putting together a rock album. He also put together an anime film to go with it, it releases on Netflix tomorrow as well.

Saw on Facebook or something it was the 25th anniversary of Wildflowers by Tom Petty. I was never the biggest Petty fan but I respect his work and this is a nice album to spin through. It’s been years since I’ve heard it.

Rick Hahn is the best GM in baseball.

Their live shows are the stuff of legend. I saw them at Metro in 2002 after they got the major label deal and I still thought they were going to demolish the place. They were crazier before that, and almost 20 years older now, but if I get the chance to see them again, I would.

I mostly remember ...Trail of Dead from their song in MVP Baseball. Never went deeper, though, probably should have.

New Tindersticks album is pleasant. No ground broken, but that's the way it goes 26 years in. There's one song where I said to myself "castanets should come in here" and as if on cue they did, brrrrrrp. Just glad they can still add a few more good songs to the list.

Tool concert from 11/8/19 in Pittsburgh. Haven’t checked out the new album yet but thought this would be a good listen. Saw them in concert at the Aragon back in the mid 90s and it was a great show from what I remember. I like that they are back and strong as ever.
