The band after was great too
Lead singer was this chick wearing some jeans and a tank top, whatever
Goes "i wore my best outfit for you guys tonight. Nah just kidding I don't give a fuck about any of you I just came to get drunk "

 Maybe if they sold some draft beer, there would be enough money for them to put some urinal pucks and a sink in the bathroom.

I think the sink is in the stall if I remember correctly.

Of course! I've offered to help Herb and Gary on many occasions. But you know what? I go where my help is appreciated.

What a fucking awesome show. As Frank mentioned, the band was super tight. But everybody up there was having a blast, it was impossible not to share that ebullience.

Adding the Rush riffs to "Patty Melt" just for Furious Styles was a nice touch that paid off.

The eight minute speech JORR delivered in the middle of the set addressing the ongoing humanitarian crisis is the Sudan region, I don't know. A little Bono for the crowd.

Great to see Bagels, JORR, and Lady JORR again. Nice to meet finally Frank C., RPB, Furious, Donspiracy +1, and Steve Sarley.

Walt's band was a great opening act.

Props to Sam for callling out the ELP cover. I didn't think Walt could hit the high notes in 'Lucky Man', but he just about nailed it.

The CFMB shout-out was a nice touch.

As was the blaxploitation movie running on the telly.

I knew the Douchebag when he used to rock and roll.

Good times. It was an...interesting crowd. Honestly, RPB and I were probably among the youngest people there. I dont go to as MANY shows as some here, but its been years since ive seen slam dancing at moshing at a show. Especially one in a tiny club.

Steve Wilko....I mean Jorr was put on this earth to drink beer, tell stories, and be a punk rock band leader. That should seriously be on his epitaph. Furious was 100% correct when he said that he was commanding the room. He had a definite presence about him on that stage. Sweat and scowl, feedback and screams.

HY's bass player was an absolute machine. Having played the Fender Jazz myself, I probably enjoyed watching him the most. He was in lock step with his drummer. A sonic boom rhythym wall similar to Jones & Bonham, DeeDee & Tommy. I couldnt really hear thier guitar player real distinctly unless he soloed, but there was some shredding ability there too.

Cheers, til the next show!

Any pics/videos? Hope there is a next time....

Mrs. 'Spiracy was playing hurt with her recent knee surgery. So we were not able to participate in the stage rush when Hazardous Youth started their set.

A real ass rock and roll evening with bunch of weirdos and deviants. Not the people on stage, but the ones in the CFMB group! I love all of you.

Had to get out of there too soon, hopefully don't have to wait too long until the next HY gig. Good to see everybody that came out as well.

I'm always envious of those able to make the outings, especially one as enlightening as this one sounds. Maybe, someday. Until then, I found this:

I'm down. Anyone else?

Saturday 8/25
Livewire Lounge
3394 N. Milwaukee

Hazardous Youth and some other shitty bands.

Chick who's nailing the singer says HY goes on around 10.

Be aware that Livewire is a little less swanky than Liars Club.

I'm out. I would need to find a place between Irving and Central and Milwaukee and Addison that is open late and sells pants.

Pregaming with Furious down the street. Two Titos and beers have cost us less than $25
