Every performance from that show is awesome.

It wasn't released until 1998 because the Stones didn't feel their performance measured up to The Who. That's pretty good. To pull off something that complex and heavy in 1968 is insane. The Who are obviously highly respected but I think it could be argued they're still underrated.

The Earl's Court 5/25/75 version of Kashmir is better than that at Knebworth.

I really don't care for the Knebworth shows. By then Zeppelin had lost it and were washed up.

Only in 1988 did Page really sound like his old self. His versions of Stairway from the '88 solo tour were excellent, like this one from Syracuse, NY.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QAW45r_viMA. Stairway starts at 1:52:35. The solo starts at 1:57:50. It's epic, to say the least.

Below that clip of See Me, Feel Me from Woodstock was this message by someone.

"When my older brother left for VietNam he bought me the Tommy album as a sort of going away present and said this is the greatest rock band ever (I bought him a necklace that had engraved on it "To one stud from another"). Less then a month later he was killed. When I snuck in the theatre to watch Woodstock (it was R rated) at age 13, I wept as I watched this. A couple of years ago I showed this clip to my own 20 year old daughter... and she gasped "Oh my gosh...They are Rock Gods!" Rob had it right all along."

We take for granted this precious life of ours, only to read stories like this that shake us to the core. In the end, we thankfully have these bonds of music to celebrate together, like we are all doing here.

Holy Shit, that '88 performance is spectacular!
