Well, there's U2, the Smiths, the Afghan Whigs, Radiohead, Belle & Sebastian, Wilco, and that's just in like five seconds.

That might be the worst thought in CSFMB history and it's a high bar.

I think the talking heads are the best band since 1980.

I disagree, but that thought is a lot better than the others you have expressed in this thread.

Talking Heads are a respectable pick post-1980.

I'd put them in a top 5 of the 80's, but they didn't really have the longevity to make a top 5 list from 1980-Present.

Back to the topic, these Stones haters have to go!

Won't you tell CH, get off my back?
Tell him what we said about "Paint it Black"
Rock and roll is here to stay
Come inside, it's okay
And I'll shake you

CSFMB music authorities, does Sublime sniff top 20? One of my favorite bands and I've never met someone who hates Sublime...

People seem to forget Oasis was one of if not the biggest band in the world for a time in the 90s. I don't think they are top 4 or 5 since 1980, but to say they are in the team photo is not an outlandish thought.

Someone on here hates Sublime. Maybe shirtless driver? I forgot who, but I remember them making a big deal of it a couple years ago in some thread.

.......yes.

I like both bands but I'm pretty sure they don't occupy the musical throne like some think they do.

I'm not sure if Radiohead qualifies here. I dont think they are the best band ever or anything like that, but they are pretty much undeniably a very good band, and there's a lot of people who will say they flat out suck.

The people who say Radiohead suck don't like Thom Yorke's voice and delivery.
Radiohead is one of the most successful bands in the world. Their US following fails in comparison.
