Hey Jude: Fucking terrible

Not saying Hey Jude is the greatest song (it certainly doesn't belong anywhere near the top as I've seen in previous all-time lists), but The Beatles have many songs (even their popular ones) that are much worse.

The worst Beatles song is "Yellow Submarine."

Well, from note one it was written entirely as a kid's song, so in that context I tend to give it a big break ... might I counter with "Maxwell's Silver Hammer"?

Frankly, I'd happily jauntily whistle along to either tune rather than listen to "Across the Universe".

Well, that categorizes most of the McCartney canon. I'll submit "When I'm 64".

The naked version of "Across the Universe" is beautiful. The one on Past Masters is nauseating.

"Honey Pie" is pretty terrible, and I usually like McCartney's indulgent stuff, but I'm sticking with "Yellow Submarine" as the worst.

I've long felt that "Tomorrow Never Knows" just sounds like a pile of shit, yet I don't hate it. I find a way to tolerate its existence.

I fucking love Phil Collins but I kinda gotta agree that the song is bad.

It's still awesome, but it's bad.

I don't think that's the name of the song.
And it's a great song.

I literally only really like A Day in the Life.

Other than that song, I fucking hate the Beatles.

I respect their contribution to music...but I fucking hate everything they do.

Solo McCartney is also terrible.

Wow, some of you guys are being unfairly harsh on The Beatles.
Who hates "Across The Universe"? Seriously?

Nothing's gonna change my world, or my opinion.
That song is an all time great.

I just think their music sucks.

As I said...I respect their contribution. I just don't like it.

Yeah. Their music sucks. Their lyrics are largely childish and boring. Especially the McCartney lyrics. Anything early is bubblegum garbage. They got mildly interesting when they started taking drugs but mildly is generous.

Poppycock. Everybody Else Is Doing It, So Why Can't We? is a fine album. It annoyed me when "Dreams" was co-opted for an insurance commercial.

Zombie is a great song and the couch album is great

She Came In Through The Bathroom Window is pretty good though. I like Joe Cockers cover better.

The Cranberries would've been good if Dolores riordan didn't have such a terrible voice.
Zombie, Dreams, and Linger would all be pretty good, if they were instrumentals.
That being said, Dolores = would've, back in the day. Dunno what she looks like nowadays.
