It's leaked. The verse isn't too bad but the chorus is brutal and it's has guitar solo more suited for "Miami Vice".

not sure which song r&b is talking about, but if it's "better" i agree. but the video's pretty decent, and that chick is *hot*. man.

but one thing..about both videos...where are they getting all the live footage from? i thought all axel did was cancel shows. not play them.

I gave up on G'N R in 1992. I would have loved to have seen Axl beat Vince Neil's ass back during their "feud" though.

The only song of theirs I've ever liked is "Mr. Brownstone".

I had them both and if you combined them you would have a decent CD. Not nearly as good as appetite for destruction.

appetite was their best overall work as far as consistency, but I & II are worth owning. Some great, great songs on both albums. "Estranged" is one of my favorites.

Juiced and Zack beat me to the punch on the points I wanted to make.

I and II combined and edited would have been a superb album although you might have lost "Get in the Ring".

Estranged is absolutely a great song. One of my favorites as well.

The only double albums that wouldn't need to be converted to single albums are, "Quadrophenia", "The Wall", "Zen Arcade" and "Double Nickels...".. That being said, I think "Illuisons II" was one of the best albums of the '90's and has dated much better then "Appetite"

I agree, that whole double disc could have been dropped down to 1 - or even less.

What about great double live albums?
My favorite is Bob Dylan and The Rolling Thunder Revue - Live 1975.

The best double live albums:

Frank Zappa: You Can't Do That On Stage Anymore, Vol. 2: The Helsinki Concerts
Frank Zappa: Broadway the Hard Way
Frank Zappa: Make a Jazz Noise Here
Frank Zappa: The Best You Never Heard In Your Life
King Crimson: Absent Lovers
Wilco: Kicking Television
Talking Heads: The Name Of This Band Is Talking Heads

That's a friggin' bulletproof list there, IMO.

Top GnR songs

1. You Could Be Mine (The end verse where Axl is 'rap singing' is one of the more memorable GnR pieces to me.)

2. Nighttrain
3. Welcome to the Jungle
4. Don't Cry
5. Dead Horse - total deep track on Use Your Illusion I. I would also toss in Rocket Queen as a deep track from Appetite

Double Live Discs:
- Heart: Live in Seattle is a good album - not a huge heart fan, but heard it a few times at a friends who is and I thought it was a good recording.
- And you want a bullet in that list - the original Kiss Alive kicks major ass. Kiss music is better live than recorded IMO.

Curious...and maybe Meatpants can help too.

there was a zappa concert that was recorded at Alpine Valley sometime in the mid 80's that I heard a song from on XRT many moons ago.
does anyone know if that is available?
