I don't think sini would be into Skrillex. Sini's musical universe started with Aphex Twin's rephlex records and went all the way to Autechre's WARP label. As recently as 2015, Sini was mock-asking "what's EDM?" so he prolly would regard Skrillex as pale imitation of the REAL THING; like a Strokes fan who thinks Parquet Courts should be more original and stop copying the Strokes ground-breaking sound.

Was the best part when he hit play or when he hit stop?

Aphex Twin doesn't, or at least didn't, make any pretense that he was doing anything on stage when he did a non-vinyl dj set.

He'd have an easy chair and a lamp set up off to the side of the stage. He'd hit play on his pre-mixed set, and then go sit in the chair and flip through magazines and drink while his set played.

Yeah I would imagine he would loathe Skrillex. Skrillex is like Good Charlotte.

I remember hearing Good Charlotte for the first time and thinking "the future is doomed. this is awful"
