It's not that interesting...my high school crew was out on a Saturday night and one of our friends wasn't picking up her phone, so I decided to call her and leave a message...the song came on the radio and we proceeded to sing along to the entirety of it (I played the part of Frampton's voice-box'd guitar). She said her cell phone bill was outrageous because of the length of the message. We all wondered why she listened to it for more than five seconds. |

I was 11 and would watch the older neighborhood kids get stoned to that album blaring from their garages. It looked like the basement scene in That 70's Show but in a garage. |

Not an exciting post perhaps but at least it wasn't about people being sick or dead, so that's good. |

btw, for what it's worth i've always said that i'd marry the chick who gifted me the hangable autobulb 2 12" by afx (aphex twin) --- i think back in the day it was a ~$100-125 record so idk if that's gone up or down over the last ~10yrs. knowing my luck, someday i'll get some goofy semi-viral stupid internet video all like "they're actually supposed to be laughing WITH me" and some deranged "superfan" chick will discover my saying this right now; and thus i'll end up getting married to some kind of a frightening psychopath just to prove a point... ...and since i obviously have no friends i'll nominate IMU to be my best man =P |
