So we wanted to get on some decent bills, maybe the Melvins at Metro or MDC at Brauer House, but these people booking the shows kept asking for our promo pack. Promo pack? I never needed any fuckin' promo pack to play Hell House. Anyway, we figured we would record a quick demo because we didn't have anything of decent quality lying around.

My wife hates the lyric to this tune. But it's an apocryphal tale. I've never even owned a dog. However, like most good songs it is based loosely on reality. Casey had two Rottweiler-Shepherd mix puppies named Thor and Loki. They were very cute. But these things were absolute shit factories. It was hard to believe they could produce that much waste as small as they were at the time. Casey is a much better musician than he is a dog trainer. He was having difficulty housebreaking the pups. One day he became so frustrated he wanted to punt them across the room. But he's not a savage. So he just wrote this song instead:

Here are the other two songs we recorded:

FUCK YEAH!

These tunes are mighty and the band sounds tight as hell.

Production is good, drums and guitar sound REALLY good, but the ride cymbal sounds too low in the mix (minor complaint). Guitarist is just killing it. Love his sound.

Julia Child is unmistakably JORR.

That's about what I expected--musically--and that's a good thing--but I didn't think the lyrics would be so insanely awesome. It rocks, though, and I can picture the audience.

I personally connected to the lyrics of "Julia Child." You touched me on that one.

Cool stuff, Jozef. Sounds like a punky early Anthrax a bit. Which position do you occupy in the band?

Panther: I am the vocalist.

Bagels and Douchebag: Of course we know Shanahan. Two of the guys worked at Metro. It's not like the old days though when Gus could just walk up to Sean Duffy and tell him what shows he wanted.

Not really my kind of music anymore but I do appreciate the musicianship and singing. I have a couple of Black Flag albums
at home but that is probably the closest I ever got to being into Punk Rock, and the only reason I really bought them was because
I am a fan of Henry Rollins.

What about Reggie's? You must know their booker...everyone knows Ellie. We've had her over to our house a few times, she's nuts...but pretty cool nonetheless.

Yeah, I think Gus has talked to her. We were gonna play a Goon party she was at at 82nd and Naragansett last Saturday but we couldn't get our shit together. Reggie's is definitely a good option. Also, Robbie the owner was one of my best friends in 7th grade. Haven't seen him in a long time though. I'd like to get on the DRI bill in October.

I went to high school with Brauer of Brauer House fame. Not close but I think we got high a few times. I live like 3 miles from it and have never been. I've heard he gets good bands. Obviously.

In the city or near an expressway works for me.

Brauer House fits the bill. Never been there, but I hear the pizza pie is solid.

I don't think I would fit in at a concert like that. I'm far too much of a square.

"Alright, so where are we gonna play our reunion show? Really, we should go back to one of the old places where we killed it."
"Yeah!"
"How about the Iron Rail?"
"Polish church."
"Club Stodola?"
"Real estate office."
"Circuits?"
"MRI clinic."
"Dreamerz?"
"Bro bar."
"Smiler Coogan's?
"Still Smiler Coogan's."
"Shit."

That's not a bad idea. I like drinking at the Mutiny.
