Spawned by a conversation IMU and I had on the way home. I gave the boring answer of Stairway for all the reasons Zeppelin was cited as great in the other thread. Achilles Last Stand is actually my favorite Zep tune though. What say you CSFMB?

Rock n' Roll by Led Zeppelin.

Not my favorite LZ song, but when I think of Rock n' Roll....this song pops in my head.

Check this out if you get the time. Pay no mind to JORR or Boyd if they chime in. :P

Sounds like a drunken garage band cover. It's a tough song to cover because Schenker is such a guitar legend and it's my favorite guitar song of all time. The main riff takes perfect rhythm which that cover is missing. The guitar solo lacks the feel that Schenker put into his. You can tell he poured his heart and soul into that guitar solo and it's the greatest of all time, in my opinion.

Tesla should stick to Modern Day Cowboy, which is one of my favorite songs.

Great song, late 80's, I think you may be right although I enjoy a lot of their stuff. Bug as a whole is really great.

I actually really like their cover of 'Just Like Heaven.' a ton.

Q...that's a terrible list. Steven Tyler was universally hated backstage, Neil Schon lost the respect of Steve Perry after Raised on Radio and everyone one on Earth hates ZZ Top. These aren't assertions, these are FACTS.

You were doing fine until you used the word "facts". Big diff between facts & opinion.
