I mean the similarity is obvious but that's not a bad thing. Are they going to be the Band That Saves Us? |

Good sound, part of me wants them to be a Zep cover band but I do respect they want to do their own thing. |

I don't get the point. I'd rather just put on "Trampled Under Foot". |

I think it's funny that they got their name from Captain Beefheart and Greta Van Susteren. |

They are all under 21. They're no King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, but I dig 'em. |

Well, I'm not gonna say we're "better" than they are. That's for the listener to decide. But I will say that influences can be taken too far. If Hazardous Youth had four Tim Matlocks we might sound like a Slayer tribute band. But we don't. Greta sounds like the only record every guy in the band ever heard was Zep IV. |

Listening to this guy sing makes me feel the same way as when I watch Chris Sale pitch. I can’t help but think his larynx is going to fall off at any minute. |

Much like keyser, I feel late to the party...started listening over the weekend, and really like the album and EP...these guys feel legit at this point. |

Mentioned them already in other thread. I heard them earlier in the year and though "ok". Been hearing more of them and normally i'd dismiss them based on their lack of creativity, but they really do still the Zeppelin vibe quite well. I like 'em. |

They also had a female member of the band lend her rendition of that Adele tune Rolling in the deep. Just blah, and a little odd given the bands propensity to sound like Zeppelin. |

I'm not a fan of that Adele cover.. I'm hoping they just wanted to get their feet wet with a cover before they cover some zep. |

I listened to a few songs on Spotify this morning. I will listen to a bunch more on the way home. My goodness that singer is trying to copy Zep. |

Certainly not the first and definitely not the last. Better than trying to copy Creed. |

Love these guys. Been patiently waiting for this album to drop, been too busy to buy tickets to their shows in December though. People trash them for sounding like Zeppelin but I love Zeppelin so why would I complain?? It’s like getting to listen to brand new Zeppelin tunes, why is that a bad thing for people. Plus someone said earlier that they are all young, they have time to mold their own sound. They seem relatively stable as well, three brothers and a childhood friend. |

The singer is definitely channeling Plant, as is the guitarist. I have not listened to all of their songs, but they do not seem to cover full spectrum of styles Zep covered...they're honed in the groove rock part of Zeppelin, but I do hear a bit more edge to it. I dig it....in this day and age where everything revolves around rap / hip-hop...I'll take it. |
