Roxy Music should be at the top of the list.

No T. Rex yet is kind of ridiculous.

Sorry...Iron Maiden belongs at the top of that list.

This is very true.

And Delaney is right, Maiden should definitely be up there.

I wasn't going to point that fact out...Maiden belongs on the list, though. I can count at least 5 acts I'd boot from that list.

The list gets lighter each year. They shouldn't feel like they need to put in 5 if they are just on the fringe.

Key Snubs this year:

Maiden (again)
Soundgarden
Alice in Chains
Nine Inch Nails
Pumpkins
T. Rex (again)
Motorhead
Judas Priest

Then you get garbage like John Prine (ugh)...

Yep, there's no mandatory requirement other than they are probably contractually obligated to produce an induction show for some network, and it is hard to sell $5000 plates to the dinner when you don't have anyone new coming in.

Honestly, the name should be changed to the Hall of Jann Wenner favorites until he goes the fuck away.

Kraftwerk, Radiohead, Roxy Music, The Cure, and Todd Rundgren would be my picks if I thought any of this meant anything. I'm surprised Kraftwerk and Rundgren aren't in already.

Def Leppard was good until after High n Dry. Then they became sellout pussies.

Def Leppard was good enough 97.9 filler. Anyone who doesn't sing along to "Photograph" is missing a pulse. But they weren't even as good at what they did as the Scorpions were.

Mott the Hoople/Ian Hunter not in the Cleveland RnR HoF? At this rate, Foster the People will probably get in for pitching down Hunter's Cleveland Rocks into a hit before Hunter/Hoople makes it in. Warren Zevon should've been inducted before he passed away.

The dumbest thing the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame ever did was have Lou Reed posthumously induct Frank Zappa.

Stevie Nicks is already in due to Fleetwood Mac, why give her another spot?

There are a shit load of bands that have members that became solo artists who've been inducted into the RRHOF at different times.
The whole operation is meaningless, just like every other hall of fame.

So Def Leppard could get in before Warren Zevon.

I could fart a better tune than Def Leppard.

The worst Pixies track off Doolittle completely obliterates Def Leppard’s entire horseshit catalog, and I doubt they’ll ever get in.

The only good thing that came from Def Leppard was this joke:

What has 9 arms, 10 legs, and sucks? Def Leppard.

If he's not already in the RnR HoF, Mutt Lange should be; and that'd suffice to represent Def Leppard in the HoF. Lange produced Leppard's troika of their "best" albums: High n Dry, Pyromania and Hysteria. Lange also produced everyone from British blues-rock greats Savoy Brown to Graham Parker to the Cars to AC/DC (Highway to Hell and Back in Black).

He also produced Shania Twain and the two of them gave us some of the worst music ever made.

yeah, probably best to leave his later, Jordan-on-the-Wizards work with Shania and producing Bryan Adams 90's records off his RnR HoF plaque.
