Yeah, I wouldn't call "Teen Angst" a power pop staple, it's too world weary. I'd go maybe "Good Girls Don't" or "Girlfriend."

Maybe because it's a song of my youth and I know it's barely more than a Cars pastiche but I'm extremely partial to "Stacy's Mom."

"Teen Angst" isn't even in the same power-pop stratosphere as "Just What I Needed." This is making me inordinately mad. How I dislike Cracker.

Oh, it's completely irrational. I can't even put a finger on why Cracker bothers me so much. Probably because they caught on and CVB didn't really.

GIRLFRIEND is a near perfect album. It was also the soundtrack to a relationship I got caught up in at the time. From perfectly amazing to perfectly heart wrenching.
