They are replaying the Mumford concert from last March that XRT pimped the shit out of and broadcast live last year.

Sounding so awesome.

They suck.

Though it is funny that the pandemic brought back the newscasts and archived concerts that Greg Solk sought to cut. I'm trying to figure out how this mess can get us Jazz Transfusion back.

M&S was a strange first choice. It must have appeased someone. It wasn't the best option.

Playing Mumford & Sons instead of any number of better options is extremely on-brand

Yes and not the best option. The brand is bland. Going off brand in this case especially for the first who would have had a bigger impact. In my opinion. I guess that's why I'm not a big radio exec.

In honor of everything falling apart, play the last Replacements concert.

Saw them at FiServ last year. A favorite of my wife. I liked the first two albums alright but everything else is not my cup of tea. Show was ok and it’s a good place to see a show if you need to see it inside but I prefer outside amphitheaters

well duh.
it wasnt any old M&S live show. It was the Chicago show that they pimped the hell out of last year, and broadcasted live on the air. So why wouldnt that be near the top of their list?
