I'd say this is a pretty decent album in the latter discography of Weezer, but there are still headscratchingly limp pop songs that Rivers can't seem to help himself include in any record. Then he comes up with "1 More Hit", which individually may be the best Weezer song in a decade. Maybe "LA Girlz". Overall, it has nothing as bad as "Make Believe" or "Raditude", but probably still doesn't match the rockingest album of their 21st century efforts, the Green Album. It's between the Green and White album. I think I like "OK Human" the best out of their last 20 years for some reason though. |

Weezer lost me after "Make Believe". Rivers started writing pop songs and then he started covering 80's tunes. Not sure what happened. Anyways, I was crazy about Weezer during the Green Album period though. |

God Damn those half limp pop songs they do it to me every time. That song was the peak and I think it was in rotation for about 2 days and got shelved. |
