I saw remnants of the Mamas and the Papas at the World Music theater back in the 90s. They were part of one of those nostalgia tours along with Herman’s Hermits, Gary Puckett, & The Grass Roots amongst others. What I remember most was that Mackenzie Phillips was part of the band (as was Spanky from Spanky and Our Gang band). Mackenzie absolutely could not sing.
