No contest.

It's a tie between "The Ballad of Juan and Yoko" and "Old Brown Shoe."

Next are the Motown covers.

I always thought "Get Back" was a pretty stupid song.

This is as bad as “mom rock” in terms of just absolutely terrible opinions on the beatles flooding this board lately

The lyrics are nonsense and musically it's nothing special. It's not one of their finer efforts.

I wouldn’t say its one of their 20 best or whatever but its a damn fine song. The lyrics to a lot of their great songs are nonsensical, who gives a shit if it sounds good and it does

Without question. That percentage is very conservative

I suppose a bad opinion is better than no opinion.

I know you're a Dylan and Grateful Dead guy. Where do you rank the Beatles? Are they in your top 5, top 10, some place else?

"All You Need is Love" does have a real cheesy feel to it and they threw the French national anthem on to the intro. It's a nice thought, but what is "love" without truth and forgiveness?

The entire Side 2 of Yellow Submarine, if that even counts.

When I was maybe 5 or 6 my dad was driving me somewhere and this song came on. I said something like "this song is dumb" and my dad said "when some people get famous enough they can do anything and people will think it's great."

He was right.

I wasn't a big Get Back or Dig a Pony fan but the documentary has given me a greater appreciation for those songs.

Their worst is Revolution 9.

This is a great "cover" of "Revolution" that incorporates "Old Brown Shoe":

Anyway, the answer to the question is likely a Ringo song, maybe "Yellow Submarine." But it could be one of Paul's nursery rhymes like "Maxwell's Silver Hammer" or "When I'm 64." Or it could be some of the egregious filler that turned The White Album into a double.

"Dig A Pony" is a pretty great song. Their best work is that stuff at the end. A rock band just being a rock band. "Get Back", I've Got A Feeling", "Don't Let Me Down"- they all belong in the conversation in the other thread.

Your dad was absolutely right. I had that exact thing in mind when I wrote "Hi Mom (Don't Worry, I'm Eating Right)" after I spent a night in jail. Sadly I never got famous.

Revolution 9 and Within You Without You.

I'm fine with the corny McCartney old-man ragtime songs. Not my favorite, but I don't hate them.

Yes...Yellow Submarine is also pretty bad.
