hola boys girls and whatever we call Lord Brick these days... tis i the bastard child of your now-wasted-time sinicalypse (pronounced "snockalpiss" cuz y'all got it wrong for all these years) and i am !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11111buzzed11111!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 that i have JUST found a concert that i totally wanna see this year.

wednesday march 30 @ reggie's rock room 7pm --- NIGHT CLUB! you might or might not remember night club from my song "dear enemy" (aka the colonel abrams / in no way shape or form does this have anything to do with matisen / tribute. --- matisen tributes are way more fun and often involve... uhhh... pay per view opportunities =)

AHEM. yeah night club is a wicked cool band and you can peep out their proper albums on youtube --- here's scary world and there's another one called die die lullaby --- seeing as i found out about this band from THE future social influencer of the stars and an active pimp and practicing thespian aka she who needs not be named [nameless bitch.... FUCK YEAH!!!! =] --- yeah suffice to say there should be legitimate female talent there. i'm very interested to find out if this show will top the com truise show that i went to on valentines day / 14/2/14 --- the female talent there was easily far and away the best i had ever seen as a show. i think night club has the potential to top it.

thAT SAID.... outside of the hazyouth show that i was so gunna go to but it never happened cuz JORR logistically couldnt get a chair into exit club (thus leaving wax trax! night as my clubhouse leader for best exit night) --- what other shows are going on worthy of our time and/or otherwise consideration?

D.R.I. 40th Anniversary Tour
April 8 Milwaukee, April 9 Chicago (Reggie's).

I'll take Milwaukee....they tend to have an easier and cheaper way of managing this thing called Parking Your Car.

Scofield was an enjoyable show this past weekend. Ween is coming to town on 3/19 and 3/20 at the Riveria. We're looking to go on Sunday as JoyDog has a show at Pub 72 in Gilberts on Saturday. Also looking into Galactic at Thalia Hall on March 25th (Day before JoyDog @ Montrose Saloon).

Iron Maiden is my all time favorite band. I've lost count as to the number of times I've seen them. It's always a great production, but I've seen them enough in my life. This one will likely be more centered on their latest album. That worked for me in 2006 with A Matter of Life and Death because the album was phenomenal. I haven't liked the albums much since that one.

Have fun....I'm likely passing (finally).

Yeah I would go if they promised to only play Number. POM and Powerslave.

At EIU we had a Percussion Major who arranged The Trooper for drumline and pit ensemble. I wish I could find a video of that performance.

I laughed over the weekend as I got an email from Groupon touting discount concert tickets for Styx/REO Speedwagon. Sales must be slow. The equivalent here of Tinley Park outdoor was $20.

Last time I saw them (only time I saw them) was August 2000 at the UIC Pavilion. Halford and Queensryche opened. From what I remember, Maiden was great, Halford was good. Queensryche sucked.

Every other time they've come through town, scheduling conflicts have precluded me from seeing them.

I'm just amazed that lineup isn't on the county fair circuit.

The Avett Brothers, Mar 29th Milwaukee at the Miller High Life Theatre. Never seen a show here. When I originally got the tickets I though it was at the Riverside. Usually don't do shows on a work night but we saw them at Red Rocks last summer and were a little let down. The venue was great but they were performing on the first of a three night stand there and while we would consider ourselves fans, we are not fanatics and they played a lot of deep cuts that we really didn't know. Hoping we will hear a few more of our favorites this time around.

Curious if anyone else has been to the Miller High Life Theatre ( former Milwaukee Theater ) for a show before.

I thin with all the biggies like Eagles and whatever charging over $100-150 they can fill the niche. Or at least they thinks. I also have seen in the last bit Marshall Tucker, Molly Hatchet and the Outlaws coming into the less than 1000 people theater circuit. MT has only the singer, Molly Hatchet has zero old members who the hell knows about Outlaws.

Taking the wife to see Elton (her request) in Louisville in April (if he’s not dead by then).

Steely Dan in Cincy in June.

TTB and Los Lobos at a great outdoor venue near Dayton in July.

Styx actually played the McHenry County Fairgrounds this past summer. As an aside, Todd Sucherman is an outstanding drummer and I recommend catching him on Facebook, Drumeo, or Youtube.

Well, wife bought the tickets, and I wouldn’t seek them myself in 2022 (especially without Brecker), and not that big a fan; however, why you say that?

No Bob. The words you're looking for are as follows " Im sorry I know so little about music that I believed Steely Dan is a band that chicks go to see and their male partners have to be dragged along when in actuality, the opposite is true. Im sorry for wasting bandwidth with my ignorance and everyone else's here time with my stupidity"

That's because you excel at doubling down on every stupid ass thing you say.
