In the 'favorite internet videos' thread, shirtless driver posted this video of Andy McKee covering "Africa" by Toto. I thought that totally kicked ass, so when I noticed that there were numerous other videos by Andy McKee, I watched them. This guy is amazing! Check out this video, which is my favorite so far (I love a funky style). I figured the several posters who play guitar would appreciate these; I'd kill to be that good. Be sure to check out his video entitled "Drifting." |

Here's another interesting piece. Nice blend of acoustic and classical as well as different picking techniques. http://youtube.com/watch?v=HEZrB_FDw4c |

http://youtube.com/watch?v=HEZrB_FDw4c When you saw that, did you also think "Kill Bill"? ETA: holy fuckballs, at about 2:45, that John Mclaughlin goes nuts. That's fast. ETA (again): Nevermind, those guys are all ridiculously fast. Good lord. |

That's Al Di Meola. He is to Ovation guitars what Ditka is to Levitra. |
