So, I bought a two year contract with Yahoo Music Unlimited for 70 bucks in December. Today, I found out they have sold off the product to Rhapsody. Anyone use Rhapsody today? The great thing with Yahoo Music was you could download all the music you wanted, then using SoundTaxi, you could rip the license off and put it on an IPod. Hopefully I'll be able to do the same on Rhapsody. |

I use Rhapsody, and after an initial bump in the road, I am a satisfied customer. You can download DRM-Protected WMA files to your hard drive with it, but I don't know how hard they are to crack (that's illegal...I don't do that stuff anymore... ). As far as your IPod, good luck...I seem to remember reading that Rhapsody and IPods don't play nice together. |

I justify illegally cracking the music as that I am not cracking it but just making it "IPod Compatible" Yahoo was okay, but I found that there is a lot of music they dont have and any time they upgrade their Jukebox product, they introduce new bugs. Thats good to hear that it may not be too bad to transfer over to. |

Fookers transferred my account to Rhapsody today and I lost all my music ratings. Good buy and good riddence to Yahoo. |

I have no problem paying for music... that's on a CD. A lot of these sites seem to still use a bitrate of 128K, which is not CD quality... I dont' care what they say. 192K should be a minimum... but that's me. |
