At the recommendation of many a while ago, I put the Rock Band Strat down and busted out the old Mexi-Strat from days long ago (ok, so maybe like a year and a half, but I digress).

I forgot how much I love that guitar, from the moment I got it. Sure, it's got a chip on the paint and the bridge creaks when I try using the whammy, but it's still great. Of course, my skills, while they were never all that impressive, have diminished tremendiously since I last played. However, I did manage to bust out a few riffs and sequences that I worked on back in my days of dreaming of being a rock star. Not sure how often I'll play, but it was nice to see an old friend again.
