i saw local h about 10 years ago, and they were the loudest 2-man band i have ever heard. very good, but my ears were ringing for a week. it was right around the time "as good as dead" came out. i think that show was at the beat kitchen as well. i remember that place being loud as hell for most of the shows i have seen there. i have "ham fisted" and "pack up the cats", but nothing more recent than that. are any of the more recent releases worthwhile? i didn't know they were still plugging away. |

They are local, and they rock. Pick up thier last 2 albums, "Here Comes the Zoo" and "Whatever Happened to PJ Soles." 'Pack up the Cats' is my third favorite album of all time. |

You "think" they are a local band? I gave you more credit than that! They are from Zion, and they do rock live.....and "Pack up the Cats" is, honestly, one of the best "concept" albums I've ever heard. Like usual, the original line-up can't be replaced, but their new sound is pretty damn good! Well, it's basically Scott Lucas and whichever drummer he can get along with at the time, but..."they" rock!!! |

Allright, i'll give them another listen, but high fiving mother frightened me from listening to the rest of their stuff. |

local h once auctioned themselves off for a private gig on ebay 6-8 years ago, and some guy from crystal lake won it, and they performed at duke o'briens. that place isnt real big, that had to be quite a racket in there. |
