Yeah, Bonnaroo's lineup looks more appealing to me, but I don't think I'll be making the sojourn, just because all the bands I want to see I already have, with the notable exception of Metallica.

I'll probably be at Pitchfork, though.

Radiohead: Albums are good background music…..that’s about it.

Those who think radiohead is the paradigm of what music is dig excessively masturbatory waking. It’s not for everyone though……I think writing a really good, catchy 3-4 minute pop song is infinitely harder.

Public Enemy performing It Takes a Nation of Millions... in its entirety is quite an enticing draw. I am marking that down on my calendar.

I don't know any of the other bands listed at pitchfork...

Yorke is brilliant and uses a ton of effects, but that doesn't make his music necessarily good, nor does it appeal to everyone.

The other 2 guys in my band love Radiohead, I do not. Not bad stuff necessarily, just not for me...though we do cover 'Karma Police'.

Radohead is a band that you simply cannot convince people one way or the other about. Consequently, I'm going to remain steadfast in my hatred for them, despite anyone's protestations to their musical prowess/brilliance.

Radiohead isnt my favorite band or anything, but I do think they are very talented musicians.

Lollapalooza’s Austin, Texas-based promoters C3 Presents are not scheduled to make their official announcement of the acts performing at this year’s weekend-long music festival in Grant Park until Monday, but the Sun-Times has confirmed through industry sources all of the major artists.

Art-rock giants Radiohead and Nine Inch Nails, the reunited Rage Against the Machine, Jack White’s side project the Raconteurs and hometown heroes Wilco and Kanye West will headline the main stages on Aug. 1-3.

The Raconteurs, Wilco and West will each be making their second appearance at the reinvented destination festival. Other repeaters among the more than 100 acts on this year’s bill are Gnarls Barkley, the Black Keys, Broken Social Scene, G. Love & Special Sauce, Blues Traveler and Mates of State.

Quite a few of the other acts — including many of the most promising — have earlier performed at Chicago’s two independently produced music festivals, Pitchfork and Intonation. These include Bloc Party, Cat Power, Stephen Malkmus, Girl Talk, Kid Sister, Office, the Cool Kids, Battles, the Go! Team, Jamie Lidell and Grizzly Bear.

Im definitely thinking of attending. Graduation turned me on to Kanye and I would love to see Rage for the first time, their live cds sound like fun. The Raconteurs cd was not bad, but im not sure how it will be live. Ive made my feelings known on radiohead and wilco. Remember when blues traveler would be considered a headliner? Oh well. Off to listen to grab all these bands off yahoo.
