Good call CLH, Animals is a very underrated album, one of my favorites. Meddle falls into the same category. Without looking it up, can anyone name a song from Meddle other than Echoes? I'm just glad that you don't throw The Wall in my face I was moreso referring to Reason. Meddle is a damn good album, as is Animals, but yeah the Wall might be better than both, tough to say. But, call it cliche if you must, I cant in good conscience say Dark Side isnt their best. Thats one of the two or three, maybe best, albums Ive ever heard in my life. I also really enjoy The Division Bell and Wish You Were Here. Hell........ theres a reason this is one of the best bands that ever lived. |

Animals is their best album with Dark Side as a close second. The Wall was an exercise in Waters' ego and gets way more accolades than it deserves. Agree though that Meddle is also highly underappreciated. If you like Meddle and some of the old stuff though, the Live at Pompeii video can't be beat. Set the Controls and Echoes are great in that video. |
