I was disappointed by the new Hold Steady and decided to protest pitchfork because of it.

I've heard mixed reviews of the new record. I'm interested to hear it.

I think that as long as Sebadoh and Dinosaur Jr. are playing, they might as well get a set out of Folk Implosion as well.

I was originally planning on going, but I will be out of town for the next 10 days, so I won't be able to go.

First two songs were okay and then it started to fall off. Honestly, I need to save some cash so i figured that was the first thing to cut.

not going, but i heard there's no in/outs this year... feel like that rule was lax or nonexistent in previous years, due to the saturation of bad haircuts in my neighborhood at citgo / swim cafe during the fest.

For lazy (and cheap) bastards like me they are showing live video feeds of a good portion of the sets, including all 3 tonight (and Jarvis Cocker tomorrow, the biggest attraction for me)

I was only there on Friday, and I missed Mission of Burma because I'm an r-tard and thought they went on at 7:00 and not 6:00. Overall, it was a good time.

Observed crowds and the action from outside the fence as the UP is on my way to/from home. Man, I'm getting old. I had zero desire to be on the inside.

It was nothing if not the epicenter of Hipster D-Bag Nation. Yes, I realize that's self-incrimination. At least the beer was tasty and reasonably priced.
