an old gf of mine's sister was a HUGE mates of state fan so i got to know them pretty well back 5 or 6 years ago...them, ben lee, flaming lips, all she listened to whenever i'd go to her apartment.

i like them but when i first heard them i thought there were like 8 people singing...it can get pretty distracting at times but they do have some solid stuff.
