I've liked all of Commons albums with the exception of Electric Circus. I think Be was very well done. Like Water for Chocolate is one of my all time favorites. Still haven't gotten around to the new one yet...

Has anyone listened to it yet? I just got it downloaded and so far it's incredible. I might like it better than Be from what I've just heard already. Finding Forever was a bit of a disappointment but this is making up for it. |

Yes. He's officially jumped the shark now, although that might have happened a long time ago. I can hardly stand to listen to him anymore, but if I am it sure as hell isn't going to be one of the last 3 or 4 albums. In my opinion if you have Can I Borrow A Dollar, Resurrection, One Day... and Like Water For Chocolate you can just stop there, you're done. |

Be is a classic is up there with his 1st few albums imo His new album kinda has the old school 80's vibe but its ok so far. i've only listened to it once so far. I like to give albums a few listens before i have a definate opinion |

I've pretty much accepted the fact that i don't like rap or hip-hop. I tried fooling myself for a long time, pretending to like albums a lot more then I really did. Common blows. The only hip-hop I heard all year that was any good was Atmosphere. And that song "Purple Kush", but that shit is old. |

can't really agree with that; "make my day" is a solid track, probably my favorite on the record. i don't think it's really that bad, bagels. but he has done better. at least the beats are nice.
