So I created this character, Nemen Tollweather (singer/songwriter: carries a satchel, wears collared shirts underneath sweater vests, beat up jeans, black leather poetry book, messy hair, horn rimmed glasses and a five o'clock shadow) and made up a few songs and this is one of them. It's highly self-indulgent, just like a singer/songwriter, and it's "live".

It's all about love and suicide, like usual. If you don't like it, fine.

But I'm posting it anyway.

Here it is!

That's pretty dark there, Nemen.

I wouldn't be being honest if I didn't say that concerned me a bit.

Easy, Striker. Let the kid have some fun.

I've been working on a lot of things lately and I still got my J Clay to perfect.

I'll preface this by saying I don't care for the content. With that said, I also don't understand the point. It reminds me of something my brother in law would have done to elicit a response. I don't really have one other than ooooookkkaaaaaaay...

You are better than this.

satirizing self-indulgent singer/songwriters was the point.

Why are you singing like today's version of Bruce Springsteen?

I'm glad you didn't pull any punches. If you're going to go dark, you might as well go all the way. :thumleft:
