I always thought that the "1964 Tribute" to the Beatles was like a random stage act
played by various performers throughout the country. It is actually 4 guys who have been together since 1984 doing the Beatles early catalog. It was a nice show but when you consider all the great music NOT PLAYED,it was disappointing. This act might "fly" in other towns, but Chicago is home to American English (The best Beatles Cover Band).
AE put on a whole show covering all era's of Beatles music. If any of you like the Fab 4,you should not miss them. They play various summerfests in towns all over the midwest & beyond. Also, the 1964 show started at 7:40 pm and ended around 9:30 with about a 15 minute break. Kind of a ripoff, but they did cover a lot of songs & clowned with the audience, too.
