Clutch recently played at Otto's in Dekalb and I missed it. I have recently just gotten into them so I really want to check them out live. Maybe I'll check this gig out as well. |

I made it. Fallon's vocal stylings were outstanding. Guitar work was very good. Since it was a small block party style show, the sound was outstanding. The playlist was about half old songs half songs from the new album coming out next week. Some that I recall included: - One Eye Dollar (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GFnpXSN3OSU) - Electric Worry (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kx6FV2qR2TY) - 50,000 Unstoppable Watts (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bTJsVpG9FGk) - Abraham Lincoln (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qwDLB8fFsgE) - Cypress Grove (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EJ_oHiMulKQ) They did about 45 or so minute show, which was free. I did scan the crowd for Doug, Stink and anyone else who may be standing there with pants around ankles and a shin tattoo that reads "Mouth breathing, basement dwelling, internets cretin" in an off chance to say hello to a fellow boardie. Unfortunately, I was the only pantsless cretin in the crowd. |

Stupid question...Isnt Clutch the band that Duff Goldman (Ace of Cakes) on the Food Network is a big fan...In fact, I believe Mary Alice, who answers the phones at Charm City Cakes is releated to someone in the band. |
