I'm not sure if there are any DMB fans around here, but if you haven't checked out their new album yet I highly recommend it. It is a huge step up from their last CD Stand Up and starts to get back to the sounds of Before These Crowded Streets. Although the sound of this album is more sophisticated and shows a band that has matured a lot since BTCS. I would go pick it up if you like a lot of the older DMB stuff and/or want an easy listening CD that you can pop in and let it play all the way through. Especially since it will most likely be the last studio release that features saxophonist Leroi Moore who died tragically a few months ago. |

I'm a big fan of DMB. To qualify, I've seen them live 8 or 9 times. That said, I haven't been too impressed with the latest album. There are a few good songs on there, but most of the songs can't be distinguished from one another. I'm not giving up on it yet, but so far...meh. |

I've been to more DMB concerts than any other band, and I think this is the sole reason why I dislike them so much now. If that makes any damn sense. |
