One of my favorite songs from the 1980s was "I Can't Wait." But I've been unable to find it through p2p. Might anyone on this board have it as an mp3?

I was a sucker for '80s music, and saw a great deal of it when MTV ACTUALLY played music videos. I thought I heard "I Can't Wait" during Bulls' games back in the day...That song was recorded by a group from Portland, OR called NuShooz in early 1986 from an album called "Poolside". It was #1 on the U.S. Dance Chart for 2 weeks in March of that year, but just missed the top of the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart in June of that year as well. It reached #3 on the U.S. Hot 100 singles chart that year, while finishing #2 on the same chart in the United Kingdom. I feel like Casey Kasem typing that, but there's plenty more about this song and its many different covers if you link here:

That's a different "I can't wait."

DW's: "I can't wait for another lazy night to be in my baby's arms..."

Deniece Williams did co-record the "Family Ties" theme song, I believe with Johnny Mathis circa 1982 when the sitcom debuted on NBC. Deniece did score a big, big hit with the single "Let's Hear It For The Boy" in 1983. You'll find that song on the soundtrack of one of the biggest movies of that year, "Flashdance".

And she also sang quite a few songs with a guy gayer than a tangerine.

"Than a tangerine"? Exactly how burrito is a tangerine? Is a tangerine really high on the gaiety scale? What is the measure on that scale?

Where does say a pomegranate or a kiwi fall on that scale? How about a mandarin orange, a blood orange or just the run of the mill navel????

Please inform...the world must know.

I once heard Bruce Vilanch described as "As gay as a tangerine." I have no idea why that stuck with me  .

Fleshiness & Insertability.

Oddly, this was also the original draft of the current Bud Light run of commercials.
