Great evening, patio door open and the roadies test the equipment with some Sweet Home Alabama, Back in Black, Sympathy for The Devil. Just played 20 seconds that Katy Perry song.

What is worse?

Being near a meaningless Cubs game during September, or having to hear DMB play?

I will take a 20-0 cubs loss over DMB any day.

DMB needs to go tune up in a gas chamber. And take Counting Crows with them.

My newly-divorced buddy is taking his new 40-yr old Banker Hottie to DMB on Sat and he asked me if I have any "Parking Strategies". I told him I would ask around.

Anyone know a good way to get free/cheap parking and maybe take a train to the park, etc? He is coming from LaSalle, IL, so He wouldn't mind parking north and training it south, or vice versa.

Take public transport.

Tell him to drive his car into a bridge embankment so he doesn't have to see a Dave Matthews Band concert

Right, but is there a good restaurant on the red line path to park the car at for free, etc. Something specific like that is more of what he is looking for I would think.

I was really just being a smartass. I don't usually go to Wrigleyville, but on the occasion that I have to, living in the suburbs, I just take the Metra to Jeff Park and work my way over.

I would suggest taking a post concert river cruise to get the full DMB experience.

there is free parking on the west side of Ashland, north of Addison
He could also street park on Byron Street between Ashland and Southport.

there is a huge lot on Grace just east of Clark, but I suspect it'll be $30 to park there.

Just tell him to slip her a roofie and say the show was awesome.

Isn't LaSalle way out in southwest bumblefuck? He must proud of his sister having a successful career in banking.

Tell him to get a hotel room in the city. I doubt his sister, I mean "date", will mind staying the night. For whatever reason, chicks find hotel rooms fun.

Barring that, there's free remote parking near Addison and Western (they have shuttles to and from Wrigley) and a pretty cool new-old bar at Grace and Western (Grace Ave Tap).

Tell him to park at DeVry. It costs like five dollars and includes shuttle service to the park.
