Was thinking about trying to get a ticket for this. Anyone else going to try to attend?
Apparently the only U.S. shows this year.

I'm in the 10Club, looks like some pretty good deals. Just my luck though, they are only offerering weekend package deals, and I have a wedding to go on the 3rd :(

I will more than likely try to buy public tickets for the Sept 4th show.

Good band, but I'm not sure I could sit through a whole night of them...

To be fair, Makalu, they are really good live.

Two nights of them actually. I've been to 20+ shows. Hoping I can secure my boss's condo for that weekend. I think it's about 10 miles from Alpine.

I've been to 5 shows. They're good, not great. I'll pass this time.

That's a good point. I've never seen them live...

I haven't seen them since the Yield tour stop at Alpine, I think it was 98, but every time I've seen them, they were a lot closer to "great", than just good.

I've seen them 5 or 6 times myself, and the only time the show was ever sub-par was that godawful October show at Alpine back in 2000.

I saw them both nights at Alpine and the two days later at the UC during that tour.

Like I said, they are good, but mayeb a lot of the experience is lost in giant venues like that. The UC is the smallest place I've seen them play, so that's probably part of it.

Haven't been to a show since 1995 at Summerfest so I am overdue. Have a lot of
their live cd's but not the same as a real show.

I was there man! It was a great show if I recall correctly...but, I'm good. Once is enough.

In all honesty, I haven't stayed on top of PJ's work since Binaural.
Yield will always be my favorite PJ album.
I saw them recently on Austin City Limits, and I maintain that they are still one of the best live American bands.
I just don't really buy much of their music anymore.

I have to admit that once I see a band that is on my "list of bands to see" I really don't go see them anymore...especially if the show was good/great.

Now, that can change if a new album is ridiculously good, but it's very rare. PJ is one of those bands.

I've seen them 9 times. Will be trying to get to the Sept 4th show for sure.

I have never understood the Pearl Jam love. Listening to Eddie Vedder sing is like nails on a chalkboard. Brutal.

We get it. You don't like Pearl Jam. This is the same fucking point you've made about them for what feels like the 5th time in the last two weeks. I'm sorry they're not your cup of tea. Move the fuck on. Christ!

A group of 10 or so peeps are taking a bus to this. Should be a great weekend. Can't wait. Though part of me is more excited to see the Strokes.

I was never really a fan of the Strokes until I saw them at a festival show years back when "Last Nite" was just becoming popular. They're a very good live band.

Yep. I reverted back to 15-year old Greg at Lolla 2010. New York City Cops live...terrific.

Going to 9/3, considering going to 9/4 as well. Should be a thing.

Ok, just bumping this to see who is actually going. I've been thinking about these shows a lot
lately and I think I will kick myself down the road if I know I could have attended one of them
and didn't due to laziness. I am thinking of getting tix for Saturday night. Not many out there
on Stub Hub for 1, just curious if there are any latecomers thinking of getting in on this once in
a lifetime opportunity.
