Was the Croce song filmed in Chicago at the University of Chicago?

KS,

I'm pretty sure this describes your relationship with Spaulding:

Used to love the Go-Go's.

Didn't everybody?

Definitely great, but as far as Heart goes, the less I hear, the better.

This should sound familiar to you:

Liked her solo career better.

Other than Heaven is a Place on Earth, did Belinda Carlisle have a solo career?

The Go-Go's are good stuff, Spanky...the B-52's, keep it.

KS and spaulding have no love for the Go-Go's???
Belinda was way better looking during that solo career, but the music was bad compared to the Go-Go's.

"Vacation" is one of the first 33 1/3 I ever owned. It was that, Def Leppard "Pyromania" or the Police "Synchronicity".

Synchronicity is good.

No question, but that's not a bad opener for the Go-Go's at Ravinia on a night like tonight.

Synchronicity is fantastic.

Rock Lobster isn't an awful song...the rest of the B-52's catalog is garbage...tonight would have been a great night for Ravinia.

I saw Cheap Trick and Squeeze there last summer...that was pretty good.

Love Cheap Trick. One of the best live shows I have ever been to was Cheap Trick show.
Squeeze? Eh.......

They were together?

Yeah, they toured last summer. Squeeze was pretty good live. I was pretty buzzed when they played though.

Agree on Cheap Trick...I've seen them 3 times (once on accident) and they've brought it each time.

First slow dance with a boy was to Lost in your Eyes.

Then he went and kissed another girl at the party.

This is from 2 weeks ago. Our Lips Are Sealed, Go-Go's, Good Morning America:

Thanks for that KS!

Watching that:

1. Their drummer is a corpse.
2. Now I'm thinking that maybe Ravinia would not have been the best atmosphere to see them - a club like Riv/Vic/etc. would have been way better. Way too many geezers in that crowd.
3. I would still do really, really bad things to Belinda Carlisle.

This thread needs some '80's era Johnny Cougar.

I loved rolled jeans and big baggy sweatshirts. That hair and makeup is classic.

We should all post pictures of ourselves when we were younger.

Not only did I have rolled jeans, I had the Bugle Boy jeans that had different colors/patterns underneath so that they stood out whe they were rolled.

Yeah I did........
