Yeah, I'm going.  Was asked by a friend if I want to go for free if I drive. Haven't been to a show for quite some time, so I figured WTF? Any of you other Doogies goin'? Edit: I unintentionally, subliminally convinced myself to get a bag of Doritos with the title of my thread.....doooooh! |

I seriously thought about going to the show in Milwaukee. I saw Poison 20 years ago (I was in HS), but never saw Crue live. Ticket prices were a little too rich for nostaligia's sake. |

I also saw Poison - twice - at least 20 years ago. Once "Dokken" opened for them, and the other time was "Tesla" as the opener.

Poison seems about the same just older, but don't the Cure suck live these days? Mick Mars is a corpse playing guitar and vince is fat and drunk and awful on the vocals. Nikki and Mr. Lee are still legit, but the rhythm section can not stand on its own. |

Crue played in Bozeman while I was there. They couldn't sell out the 8,000 seat basketball arena, so they gave away the nosebleed seats free to students. A few friends and I didn't have anything else to do, so we got a flask and went just for the hell of it. I only like a small handful of their songs, but with the stage props and pyrotechnics it was actually one of the coolest shows I've seen. Tommy Lee is unbelievable on the drums. |

That was an incredibly clever dig from Keeping Score. I must admit that I chuckled moderately. However, I will be reporting Keeping Score to the principal right after 5th period Social Studies. |
