I know ,I know been asked a million times but I do not feel like going through the lists.
I am thinking of buying a Scandisk MP3 player. If I buy stuff from Itunes will it play on it?Or will I have to convert the files to different formats.

Back to the topic at hand, I'm not sure about iTunes and Sandisk, but have you tried Amazon's mp3 service? It works with Windows Media Player, which you can rip your cd's to, and the WMP interface works really well with the Sandisk player (I used to have one before I started using my phone).

You'd have to convert the files.

Thanks boyd, the reason I was looking at ITunes was because of the amount of content available. I could always go back to Napster.

God's honest truth chas, I looked at both and Amazon is on par. They also have a lot of full album specials for 5 bucks.

Yea first it's Sandisk. Second, Amazon is catching up to iTunes and Google's service should be good if they can get all the contracts in line.

What you need to do is convert all the iTunes files to .MP3, as Windows Media Players (probably your best bet for syncing to your Sandisk) won't recognize the files in the Apple format.

For more look here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1550

Can also find other similar stuff on their website. They do a good job of organizing their help files, etc.

I don't think you actually made money off of it but I know that if I try and explain further that you'll somehow just explain to me that I was wrong and the numbers you posted that don't make sense actually make sense.

What was the price that they gave you for your fit?

Buying 2 new cars in 11 months is just stupid IMHO. That's not something I would tell anyone I did. Especially if I'm still renting.

Post subject:  Re: ITunes question

Fine, I'm just going to post it out.

$8,000 down payment.
You stated that you owed $8,100 still.
That's $16,100.
That did not include whatever principal you paid down and the interest you had to pay. Your original loan was likely equal to or higher than the $16,500 you posted that you sold it for including the dealer fees and destination charges.

Now, you bought a new car, which means you paid those fees again, which would eat up most of the "profit" even if I use that $775 difference along with the fees you'll be paying the state for license plates and other stuff. If you were doing a trade-in, where you were buying a car from the same person, they also likely gave you some "extra" money on the trade-in to make you feel better, while simply giving you less of a discount on the new car meaning that the $16,500 is not a real number of the cost of the car because it's packaged with a new car purchase.

Maybe I'm wrong though.

#goodfinancialshape

Why shouldn't someone buy something they really want when they can afford it? I make enough to be happy - to have a nice apartment, to have a nice car, and to do things I enjoy. Why should I not have that right?

I couldn't afford a GTI over a Fit a year ago. I was making crap. I didn't know I would have my situation turn around so quickly. I made the best decision I could at that time. Now here we are, and I was able to make the change without issue.

edit: It feels like I drove the Fit on a one-year lease for pennies.

You do realize getting a better job or an increase in pay sometime in the past 12 months doesn't equal "good financial situation"? You could lose your job and now you're stuck with new car payments and the need to pay your rent. Here at the Lodge headquarters we call your situation Nigga Rich.

I wouldn't say I were in #goodfinancialshape if I had a lease and a roomie.
I'd say I was in a good financial shape if I only had a couple years of mortgage left, and a minimum one year cash surplus in my savings, and no "roommate" (wife doesn't count as a roommate I don't think...) to depend on making bills.
We probably just have different states of #goodfinancialshape. Mine would mean not living paycheck to paycheck, no debt, and plenty of cash. In other words, perhaps if you'd paid cash for these cars, I'd agree you were in #gfs.

that's just my opinion though.

Nas he's unfireable.

At his last job, the whole place would have fallen apart without him.

I assume the place has gone out of business since he moved on.
