There is a definitely place for you here, because, whether you know what you are talking about or not, you routinely challenge the power structure here. That is good. Power cannot go unchecked. Who cares if you make the power-abusing posters here uncomfortable. They should be for having allowed themselves to devolve into such megalomaniacs anyhow. Just change your tact to a more creative and appreciated one, or at the very least less predictable, and you go from pariah to Legend.
For the record: I don't think it is a good thing necessarily that you listen to everyone telling you how to think - don't change that - that is who you are. Just change the delivery - i.e. the vessel that contains your message. Make it a more welcome form, and you don't leave embarrassing openings for your foes' reprisals.
And if they do try to pop your birthday balloon anyhow? Who cares? Let it roll off of your back and respond with something that shows that they are the trouble-maker and that also conforms that you possess both a heightened sense of levity and humor.
