Megadeth's Mustaine has metal supergroup idea Aug. 12, 2011, 2:37 PM EST WENN Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine has reached out to Metallica's James Hetfield and Lars Ulrich with a view to forming the ultimate heavy rock supergroup. Bing: More on Megadeth and Metallica Mustaine told Texas radio station The Eagle Rocks that he has spoken to the duo about the idea and they're considering it. He imagines drummer Ulrich would be on board if his frontman agrees. Mustaine says, "James never said no, but it's still kind of out there in the air. I'm gonna keep hammering on him." Mustaine sad he thinks Megadeth's David Elefson would be the project's bass player. |
