I was listening to a Stones song (think it was "Start me Up") on the way in to work today and remembering how Charlie Watts always lifts his right hand off his high hat on four when he's hitting the snare. Always thought that was weird.

I have a similar weird characteristic as a drummer; I slide my stick over to my right leg after every time I hit the snare (unless it's a cymbal crash), but of course I'm not exactly notable. :wink:

This might be a very small thread.....or maybe a gif thread.
