Going on tour http://music-mix.ew.com/2011/09/21/guns ... our-dates/ They have over 30 US cities scheduled beginning October 28. Just assuming they have 35 dates scheduled, I'm setting the initial over/under for dates they actually play at 8.5. As an added bonus, they're headlining the Rock In Rio festival. I'm setting the over/under at how late they start after their scheduled time at 2.5 hours. |

Chinese Democracy wasn't as terrible as I thought it was going to be but it wasn't good. Actually Slash's new album that he did with a bunch of guest stars singing on it is pretty excellent. |

Saw them back in 2003 or so at the All-State Horizon. It was a pretty good show. Not G n' R but it was good. |

I liked Chinese Democracy. It didn't live up to the AFD/UYI standard but it was solid. |

I thought Chinese Democracy was excellent and underrated. Most criticism I hear or read is essentially one of two things: -It took too long. -But where is teh Slash? Botched abortion is the phrase that comes to mind when I think back to the "promotional" efforts put into this album around the time of it's release. There wasn't even a stateside tour. |

It's weird I listened to Chinese Democracy a bunch when it first came out but I find I don't ever really put it on since. But like I said I think its pretty good. |
