Gilby ok. But Dizzy is a scab? He's been with them since Use Your Illusion. Outside of Axl's crazy ass he's the longest tenured guy up there playing. |

Look at it this way. There are Stones fans that still consider Ron Wood a scab. |

That's the saddest thing about it: that my favorite band has an over-20-year-tenured scab. I'm pro-labor, and did Jager shots with a scab??? I think I'll go sit in shame now. |

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame will become relevant again once they start voting people out of it. |

I met Gilby Clarke at a Ralph's in Studio City, Ca. in 2001. He was buying chocolate ice cream. He was very nice to me. "Guns N' Roses" has been nothing but a joke since UYI 1 & 2. Why anyone still cares is completely beyond me. If Morrissey decided to hire 3 dudes, not named Marr, joyce, or Rourke, but made a "Smiths" record, would anyone take it seriously? Doubtful. If Axl was actually the genius he apparently thinks he is, he should have been able to reinvent himself without clinging to the brand name. The other original 4 must just roll their eyes, chuckle, and count their money. Guns N' Roses WAS, Guns N' Roses isn't anymore. |

What is the policy as far as who gets inducted? Is it everyone who was ever in Guns and Roses? I remember all seven Eagles being on the stage for the induction, but would some of the new guys in GNR get in? |

If Axl is the only GNR lifer, and 21 other people have comprised the band, then I say no to the HOF as a "band". Appetite deserves all the accolades it's received, but "Guns N' Roses" is just a brand name, just like "Smashing Pumpkins" is. The RRHOH probably has alot of awesome gear and paraphanalia in it, but it's about as prestigious as the "Peanut Buster Parfait" HOF. I like the all-star jams when they do the ceremony, but really, who the hell cares? |
