This guy is not only an Emcee, he's a chef also. He incorporates food into alot of his lyrics, and from most of the shit I've heard from him, I'm impressed. He kinda got that Ghostface vibe to me. He dropped his first Album called Dr. Lecter this year, pretty solid. He's an Albanian kat from Queens. Here's one track called "Brunch" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fPCQgzA1cnU Another named after WWF jobber "Barry Horowitz" --http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JNKeBoRbifw Here's a freestyle where he kills it. --http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C_yP_l3Y270 And one called "bronsonmania" --http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GuQsPWWp1iA |

Yeah he's got a good verse on Wu Tang's last ep, Legendary Weapons on Meteor Hammer with Ghostface and Termanology. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7FxALkn0msQ Termanology kills it there /\ BTW I didnt know Action was white or that he looked like that. Thats hilarious. He does come off like Ghostface was his sensai or something. Good stuff. From Wiki He has gained notoriety lyrically and stylistically resembling to rapper Ghostface Killah (who he collaborated with, along with friend, and fellow rapper Termanology on a song called "Meteor Hammer" on Wu-Tang Clan's 2011 album Legendary Weapons). In a interview with HipHopDX, he was asked about how it was to sound like him, and he responded with, "Yeah, I mean at the end of the day, it’s all good because Ghostface Killah is one of the best rappers alive, so if I sound similar to the best rapper alive then that is fine. To me there is no comparison; he is a legend and I am a newcomer. If I would try and emulate with anyone it would be Kool G. Rap, he is the person I look up to the most. In the end, I am not upset but at the end of the day I am my own person and no one can take that away from me." |

Wrestler Barry Horowitz Doesn’t Like Action Bronson Name Dropping Him JAN 8TH, '15 • NEWS • by PAUL THOMPSON • NO COMMENTS Yesterday (Jan. 7), Action Bronson blessed us with “Actin’ Crazy,” the oyster-heavy single produced by Drake architect 40. Today, however, Bronsolino finds himself in hot water over a song that’s been out since 2011. As it turns out, former professional wrestler Barry Horowitz didn’t take too kindly to “Barry Horowitz,” Bronson’s Dr. Lecter shrine to self-congratulation. In a new interview with Rolling Stone, Horowitz says he felt disrespected by the song, and wished that the Queens rapper had reached out to him for permission to use his name. (“No respect,” said Horowitz.) He also alleges that, while on tour in Florida, Bronson asked Horowitz to appear at a club date, but didn’t offer any money in return. Bronson has yet to respond (“It’s Adriatic summers on the sailboat/Don’t even try to call I’m not available for nothin’.”). His major label debut album, Mr. Wonderful, is due out March 24. |

1. "Brand New Car" 2. "When I Rise" 3. "Terry" 4. "Actin Crazy" 5. "Falconry" 6. "City Boy Blues" 7. "A Light In The Addict" 8. "Baby Blue" 9. "In Those Jeans" 10. "Only In America" 11. "Galactic Love" 12. "The Road" 13. "Easy Rider" Today (March 23) marks the release of Action Bronson's latest album Mr. Wonderful. After a slew of highly successful mixtapes, Mr. Wonderful is Bronson's first album on a major label, Vice Records via Atlantic. The release was preceded by three singles, "Easy Rider", "Actin Crazy", and "Terry", and we also heard a leak of "Baby Blue", featuring Chance the Rapper. The album is thirteen tracks in total, and the project continues the freewheeling, psychedelic inspiration that we heard on the singles. Though, Mr. Wonderful is meant to be played right through, as each song blends into the next, and Bronson's verses are separated by instrumental interlude jams that, at times, take you way beyond the realm of modern hip-hop. Action Bronson isn't pinned down by one aesthetic, but Mr. Wonderful is heavily inspired by 1970s prog-rock and psychedelia. Contributing to this feel are dizzying productions by The Alchemist, live guitar by Party Supplies, and keys by 88-Keys. Aside from Chance, Bronson's crewmates Mayhem Lauren and Big Body Bes guest, and additional production comes from Mark Ronson, Statik Selektah, and Oh No. Stream Mr. Wonderful below, and tell us what you think of Bronson's latest album. Good album. Just what you'd expect from AB |
