Have a video, website, or document that shows easy guitar tablature or arrangements? Post them here. I know many people on the board have been thinking about picking up the instrument, and I am also sure players the ilk of doug, Darkside, and Frank can share some of their favorites. I'll also do my best to share what I've used in the past. Despite the feminine nature of the song (but then again, would you expect anything less coming from me?) the other night I learned Adele's Someone Like You thanks to this guy on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ZsG9zrhtZc |

continuous down-up picking only (especially for string skips). start at mode #5 on the 3rd fret of the sixth string. you're in the key of G. The F is Sharp. play up the mode, then down...then move on to #6 at the 5th fret. (still in G, F is still sharp). play to a click until you can play all seven in the Presto tempo range...starting at #5 on the 3rd fret and ending with #5 on the 15th fret. bonus points for Prestissimo tempo range. see you in 6 months. |

Doug... DL the tab to "stash" by Phish. It's a wonderful practice and a neato song to play. Many contortions and weirdness. |

Maybe wrong thread BUT... in your guys estimation how difficult is "Blackbird" to not only play, but play and sing at the same time. Looks like it'd be pretty fucking hard. |

its hard enough to play correctly...let alone sing competantly. |

If you go to your local public library they have a ton of Fakebooks with older songs and some of them have tab. I don't mind the tablature sites, but a lot of times they try to open stupid pop-ups in your browser. |

I find a lot of the tab on the internet is plain wrong. I spend a lot of time trying to play some and look at it again and say to myself what was he (the poster) thinking? |

Nice... I've noticed some tabs being pretty bad. Especially the first or 2nd versions submitted. I played a lot this past week and weekend. Exercises! |

doug - evergreen park wrote: A Fakebook is just a song book...weird. Is this Adam guy any good? He's a work in progress I'd say. Near where our last drummer was but he practices all the time and hass some passion. Improvements every time I see him. I'll be going by there one day after work this week. |
