Not sure if this makes any sense but since the concert season is coming up why not list
what shows you are going to or are at least thinking of going to. Maybe you can't go but
want to toss out a show that others may like to attend....

For me it looks like Iron and Wine will be at Ravinia on Sunday 6/10 so I may take the train for that one

The Head and the Heart are scheduled for Sunday July 1st at 10pm at Summerfest. Really want to make that one.

OAR at Charter One
DMB at Alpine

Definitely going to see Ben Folds Five at Summer Fest

Iron and Wine at Rivinia might be an excellent time

If you end up at Ravinia I have to meet up and buy you a beer. I haven't
been to Ravinia for a few years. Last time I was there I saw John Legend.
Very nice venue for a show when the weather works out.

You knew this was coming. No sooner did the September 7th concert sell out at Wrigley Field in an hour, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band have announced they've added a second show September 8th at the legendary home of the Cubs. Those tickets, according to what I read this morning, go on sale May 5th at 10a. Supply & demand? You bet.

Freddy Jones Band will be in DG Fri, May 18. Some people seem excited about this.

:puker:
When I used to go to the Tivioli for $1 movies, I often said to myself "self, I hope I get a chance to see a one mild-hit wonder 20 years after there prime in this theater someday".

I will be at a concert on September 7th, but I won't be seeing "The Boss" at Wrigley Field. I will be at First Midwest Bank Ampitheatre to see "The Tour 2012" featuring Mötley Crüe and KISS.

It will be the 14th time that I have seen KISS live.

Seems like as good a place to post this as any...a buddy of mine at work today said he wanted to do a festival of some sort this summer...any recommendations from anyone (he already said no to Summerfest).

Just in case people couldn't get enough suck from watching the 2012 Cubs. Not sure whats worse: The outfield play over the course of one season, or Bruce Springsteen performing in the outfield over the course of two days (6 hours?). I'd rather deal with the OF play 10 times out of 10.

Aerosmith @ United Center 6/22
Aerosmith @ Summer Fest 7/7
Pearl Jam @ Pensacola Beach, FL sometime between Sept. 21-23. Ben Folds Five, Foo Fighters and Wallflowers are also playing this but it'd be just as well if they weren't.
Looks like they added 9/22 in Atlanta today. Might be a little easier to get to.

How do you know they won't let you in?

Jimmy Cliff hopefully and Jimmy Buffett at the World (although I hate that place)

Would love to see Foo Fighters as well.
